Fosfomycin publications

Fosfomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic discovered in Spain in 1969. Its soluble salt fosfomycin trometamol (tromethamine) is used as a single-dose treatment for uncomplicated lower urinary tract infection.

Though used for many decades, fosfomycin trometamol is not well characterised. The major relevant literature about fosfomycin trometamol has been compiled in a special document.
